Office Policies

To maintain fair and ethical standards, our fees are the same for everyone, whether you have insurance or not. Payment is expected at time of service, unless other arrangements have been made with our financial coordinator. We accept all major credit cards and CareCredit. As a courtesy to our patients, we file benefit claims and we will accept payment from third parties. However, the final responsibility of the account and total understanding of benefit coverage specifics is the patient’s. We ask that you contact your insurance provider to determine your benefits in our office. Appointment Policy

We are committed to providing the highest standard of personalized dental care with a gentle, efficient and professional manner. Our office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00am until 5:00pm. A short lunch break is normally taken and does vary as scheduled based upon our patient needs for that day.

We value the time our patients set aside for their dental needs, therefore we request that patients notify us of cancellations or reschedules 48 hours prior to the scheduled dentist appointment. This allows our office to meet the dental needs of other patients who are waiting for care.

If an emergency arises, as they often do, and a patient is unable to attend their appointment, our office requires communication that the dentist appointment will be missed and rescheduled. We understand how valuable your time is and our office strives to accommodate your scheduling needs.

OSHA Policy

Our infection control practices exceed the guidelines set by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Centers for Disease Control, and the American Dental Association. We routinely use masks and gloves, as well as disposable items when possible. All surfaces in our procedure rooms are either covered or disinfected before each new patient arrives. Metal instruments, including drills, are sterilized with an autoclave, and the few non-metal instruments we use are disinfected after each use. We have self-contained water systems to prevent the possibility of external contamination and allow for regular disinfecting. To ensure that our infection control practices are effective, we monitor several critical steps with biologic tests. We also attend regular update meetings and set aside training time specifically to maintain our high standards in this constantly changing area.

We understand the safety concerns you may have, and we would be pleased to give you a tour of our facility and answer any questions concerning safety and infection control. As a general dental office, we are pleased to provide comprehensive care through a broad range of procedures and services, with referral to more narrowly trained specialists when necessary.
